Repeat Prescriptions
Under the Poisons Act (1964) and the Veterinary Surgeons Act (1960) and Guidelines (1979) we are sometimes able to provide your animal with a repeat prescription. In cases of ongoing medication where the clinical picture has not changed and provided we have seen the patient in a clinical setting recently we are able to provide repeat medication. Ultimately we must adhere to the relevant legislation and will ask you to bring your animal in for a recheck if we need to check them prior to dispensing more medication.
